IRIScan™ Desk 6 offers a valuable reading aid for dyslexic people, thanks to the unique text-to-speech technology. It can read aloud any document (Microsoft Word, PDF, text files, web pages or scanned documents), word for word!
It allows you to read and listen in parallel, word for word, to any document. As such, this tool is ideal for language work and any other task requiring intensive reading.

How does the solution work?

Readiris Dyslexic comes with IRIScan Desk 6 Pro Dyslexic. This allows you to record training sessions for later reference and communicate live with your teacher, all while mitigating dyslexia disorders.
With our solution, you can prepare your sessions with any media, including magazines, books, newspapers, as well as digital files from your PC or the web.

The simple user interface makes it quick to get started and guides you through a side-by-side presentation of the original text and the extracted text.
The presentation makes it easy to edit the text you are reading and export the file as an image (JPEG), audio (MP3/WAV), PDF or Docx file.

The tool is suitable for everyone, children and adults. You can read any document aloud, and choose to read a single word, a single phrase or an entire sentence. You can set the tool to speed up or slow down the reading, or to repeat comments until you correct the spelling and pronunciation. In addition, this tool is self-paced, meaning you can train yourself without the help of a teacher, family member or therapist.
